Musical Resistance Reading

if you want to further the discussion about music as revolutionary resistance check out this book. "Sounding Off!: Music as Resistance / Rebellion / Revolution". Its a collection of essays put out by Autonomedia including stuff from Hakim Bey, Fred Ho, and Mikkel from Dreamtime Village. It's as good of a diverse read as I've found on this subject: from the role of music in colonial uprisings to sampling to the importance of noise music. Although, it was published in 1996 and could probably use an updated edition that would include the internet, low-cost/hacked music production software, nomadic soundsystems, etc...
