I knew Micah when he lived in Pittsburgh, and was horribly shocked and saddened to find this out during my last trip through the Bay area. He was always a supremely enlightened and super sweet man. I am heartened to know he had so many wonderful friends in the crazy community that includes your part of the world. I think I have probably met some of you all at some point during my tenure as a freak in America, and as a fellow friend of Mich's I thank whoever reads this from the bottom of my heart for including him in your wonderful and wild activities. I really missed him when he left Pittsburgh for points west, he worked at the piercing shop, Hot Rod, just a block from my apartment. He procured such beautiful things for me and I just adored spending time with him, he was always so supportive of the show, he was so unbelievably methodical in everything he did, the rubber trees in the piercing shop shone when he was home.... Anyhow, thanks for being there for him, he was awesome and I know you all knew that and celebrated him. I don't know why he had to go early, I will never understand that, so I just take comfort in knowing he apparently found a great community of friends. Thank you, Mandee
