We are a large collective household and political events space in the Mission that is looking for new housemates for June 1st and July 1st.  Our space is a whirlwind of activity!  We host free movie screenings, Food Not Bombs, political benefits, radical queer discussion nights, Spanish/English language exchange projects, and an occasional party.

We are anti-capitalists and anti-authoritarians. We are varied in terms of gender, class, place of origin, sexuality, and experience working within collectives.  We feel that this is a very challenging political experiment and also very exciting.  By living collectively and providing communal space for creative ideas, discussion, and movement-building, we're challenging a culture of wealth-accumulation and oppression.  We are working to build a foundation for sustained social change.

We share food, chores, and a lot of time together including weekly meetings, dinners, and reading group discussions. we're a friendly bunch.

We're looking for people who have a solid class, race, and gender analysis (a strong, indignant! critique of systemic oppression) and are fighting/resisting the trappings of capitalism in their everyday lives. people who function well in a non-hierarchical atmosphere and can handle a certain level of chaos.

we really want folks who are interested in using the space to further their own projects. people with lots of energy who will stick around.

okay. interested? write us and tell us about yourself. Who are you? What kind of projects are you working on? what do you like to do with your days off (or if you don't work, you still get the idea...)?. besides lower expenses tell us what excites you about collective living. Have you lived with lots of people? How did that go?

b well

look forward to hearing from you!
