connections connections...International squat swap?

So, am looking to head to SF next year from Bristol, UK. Currently squatting lovely 5 bed georgian number, hot running water, free electricity..lovely neighbours and friendly police. Can't guarantee will still be available next year but fuck it, its a sales pitch. In need of connexions for trip to the States next year. Want to stay for as long as possible, will have no visa, nor american husband to provide visa. UK crew will be joining the Burning Man Massive in 2009 so want to get involved after a working journey through South America - all plans negotiable. Make large scale site specific theatre in disused buildings - any networks/people I should speak to???
