The goal of Bikes For Life Peace Ride:
Promote peace (gun truce)
Build unity with other riders
Attract urban youth to cycling
The most visible segments of Bikes For Life will be when hundreds of bicyclists ride around Lake Merritt to DeFremery Park.
Bikes For Life riders range from novice recreational riders to top-level bike designers.
One of the best features of Bikes For Life is that all types of custom bikes are represented.
