The 999 EYES crew has made their truimphant return to Austin, Texas. After wandering about the world all summer, our new album is finally done and in our hands. Corbin Harney, Western Shoshone spiritual leader and anti-nuclear activist passed away on July 10th following a long battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by many. Corbin calls upon people to never give up and continue on with their struggle against nuclear weapons proliferation by the U.S. military.

Meanwhile here is a photo from one of the awesome community events I attended in a severely damaged village:a crack in a building by the sea: made, joemama and nenek in Sewon...:and a small photo (more to come later) of a wicked installation by a performance artist/art teacher based in Yogya made from ruins and rubble from the earthquake..

Mutate or Die Tour | report | SPAZ | touran ill-advised cross-breeding of hip hop and traditional new orleans jazz punctuated by cirkus hijinx resulted in the Mutate or Die experiment, which travelled between California,Oregon, and Washington in july....two buses powered by recycled vegetable oil transported 15 performers and technicians to a variety of venues around the west coast which ended up at the Autonomous Mutant Festival in august. I just finished a cross continental adventure with a group of French techno heads called World Traveller Adventures. They have members from Teknocrats, Tomahawk and IOT tekno crews. They brought me along to teach circus workshops and clown around with the children. We traveled
overland from the South of France to Mongolia in 3 huge trucks carrying 7 tons of donations to an orphanage in Ulan Batur, the capital of Mongolia.

Police believed the group to be carrying "simulated weapons of mass destruction" in backpacks, which later turned out to be home-made portable sound systems.
